About Us

At Motherhood Collective, we’re here for the eye-bagged, milk-stained, tea-fuelled heroes of the world—new parents. Our mission? To make the wild ride of the first year a little brighter, a tad easier, and maybe even a bit more fun (yes, really). We curate colourful, thoughtful gift boxes packed with practical goodies that say: “We see you, you’ve got this, and also... have some chocolate.”

We don’t do fluff (unless it’s a super-soft muslin). Every item we include is tested, trusted, and chosen to bring comfort, joy, or at the very least, a five-minute breather. Whether you’re buying for a best mate, a sister, or yourself (go on, you deserve it), our boxes are full of real-life lifesavers, not just Instagrammable niceties.

Because parenthood is messy, magical, exhausting and beautiful—and we believe the gifts should match.

Our Story

Before I had a baby of my own, I really thought I was nailing the whole "new baby gift" thing. Turns out... not so much. Pamper kits? Lovely, but realistically... when is anyone finding time for a candlelit bath between cluster feeds and Googling "why is my baby grunting like a pig at 3am"? Cute baby clothes? Adorable—until you realise the baby is already two sizes bigger than expected and the parent had a very firm no pink, thanks rule.

In 2021, I helped my sister through the chaos and cuddles of her daughter’s early months. Nine months later, I had my own daughter—and let’s just say, the learning curve was steep. I quickly discovered that the most meaningful gifts weren’t necessarily the prettiest, but the ones that made me feel seen. Like the now-iconic “No Sleep Club” mug (a.k.a. my emotional support cup), a mountain of muslins (because reflux is a beast), and hand cream that soothed my poor, over-washed hands post-nappy change #4,723.

It was the practical, quirky, lovingly chosen gifts that made the difference. The ones that didn’t just say “congrats!” but said “I get it.” A bright scrunchie that stopped baby fists yanking out my hair (and made me feel vaguely human), a monkey teether that got us through the endless “is this teething or is she just dramatic?” phase, and a flap book that distracted her long enough for me to finish a cuppa while it was still warm. Bliss.

So that’s why I started Motherhood Collective. To give new parents what they actually need—useful, joyful, beautifully curated gifts that help them feel less alone, more prepared, and a little more like themselves.

Even if “themselves” now means someone who considers a solo toilet trip the height of luxury.
